2018 Adventure Camp

Six of our students attended the Adventure Camp at Elandskloof Trout Farm in Dullstroom.

Students built shelters in the forest and slept in them on the Monday night. On Tuesday they built their own mini-farms from mud and sticks and even had to have a working running water system! On Wednesday students did a treasure hunt for nature items like fish, frogs and flowers. The major point of the day was the extremely long hike up the mountain. They had a fun afternoon doing water netball, slip & slide, rope pulling contest and dodge-ball.

On Thursday students completed the very muddy obstacle course and they also did stalk the lantern during the night. There was a lot of swimming, games and laughter with loads of devotional time, motivational exercises and inspiration from nature.

A huge thank to you to Mr Ross van Reenen who facilitated the camp and to Aunty Celeste Combrink for the amazing abundance of food!
